This year’s varsity attained a stellar 18-1 record plus the Eastern Division Championship. Even though George Slade averaged 25 points per game, it was truly a team effort that gave us so many wins. The unselfish and outstanding teamwork of Joe Mannix, Jeff Pelin, Dana Weese and Buddy Mark made this team the one everyone looked to in the Eastern Division. Adding to its greatness, were Bill Brien, and Mike Breese who provided the needed depth to make a Championship team that will represent Fairport well in the “Big House.”
