The 1967-68 Basketball season found Fairport with a new coach. Coach Jack Quiggle came from Farmington High in Detroit where he left with a winning record. During the first half of the season, the Raiders recorded no wins and seven losses. This was only after some tough games like the one point loss to Penfield. Beginning the second half, the Raiders stamped out Webster for their first win of the season.
Outstanding players this season were Senior Charlie Reed who led the Raider’s scoring attack and 6-3 center Pat LaVeck who was named to the all Tournament team during the Christmas Tournament at Eastridge.
The information presented on this page has been sourced from different mediums and is intended to be as accurate as possible. We based our overall Win/Loss records on all games played, rather than league vs. non-league, division vs. non-division, etc. Therefore we have situations where the Team Summary may mention a different Win/Loss record. We have noted any known inaccuracies and/or gaps in this team’s data below. (NR – means “Not Reported”)
