An able group of experienced boys answered Coach Brennan’s call to practice Nov. 12 to begin the 45-46 season. Captained by Neil Seaman they set out to see what the hardwood had in store for them.
In the first half of the league games, Irondequoit and Brighton both tripped the Red and Blue by two points. East Rochester suffered one of its two losses at our hands, while Spencerport and Brockport had to battle to win their 1 and 2 point decisions. Webster found our Cagers easier prey, and defeated us 44-31.
Our hoopsters opened the second half by swamping Irondequoit, 46-32. Brighton won a hard-fought game by four counters, while East Rochester, vastly improved, dropped us 47-29. Spencerport and Brockport fell easily as we closed a winning season with 9 wins and 7 losses.
